Hailing from an Illustrious family, his father, Mr. G. Chidambaram, is an economist and a former member of Tamil Nadu State Planning Commission. His late father-in-law, Mr. S.G. Sundaram, was a very senior official in the Indian Administrative Service. He had worked in the Haryana Government and in various capacities in the federal Government of India. He also had an assignment with the United Nations as advisor to Honduras Government.
His small and sweet family consists of spouse Chitra Sivakumar and son Vikram Sivakumar. Vikram completed his Bachelor’s degree in Singapore, and his MBA from Chicago Booth School of business, U.S.A. He currently works for Boston Consulting Group in U.S.A
